U-Shin selects Andea to provide support services for its DELMIA Apriso solution
U-Shin, a global company of Japanese origin, founded in 1926 and specializing in vehicle access systems and control panels, has selected Andea as its strategic partner to provide support services for its DELMIA Apriso solution.
U-Shin is a worldwide corporation, part of the MinebeaMitsumi Group, that employs over 6,400 employees and generates $1.32 billion in sales (USD). With a portfolio of over 1,600 patents, U-Shin has unique know-how in the automotive parts manufacturing industry, and its product portfolio includes:
Electronic Steering Column Lock
Climate Control Panels
Power Closure Systems
Rear Access Modules
U-Shin is using a barcoding solution deployed on top of the DELMIA Apriso MES platform, which is deployed in 10 plants located in Europe, South America, and Asia. U-Shin was looking for a partner that would provide remote Application Maintenance Support services for the barcoding solution. Our engagement with U-Shin started with a Knowledge Transfer Workshop. Completing the workshop allowed the Andea support team to understand U-Shin’s business processes and the Barcoding Solution implementation. Today, our scope of work comprises Level 1/2 support services, including:
Diagnosing and resolving issues linked to specific solution process configurations and custom components
Development of new solution enhancement (Change Requests)
System upgrade assistance (FlexNet v9.5.2 to Apriso 2019)
Database maintenance services
According to the Client, they decided to choose Andea primarily for our expertise, APRISO MES knowledge, and our experience in the automotive sector.
Andea is delighted to have U-Shin among our respected clients!
